I just watched a video featuring a noted Marathi actor “Sachin Khedekar”. In this video, Mr. Khedekar said that these days things put forth in a comic in tone are worshiped while any points/issues that are put forth in a serious manner are labelled as heavy.
This is a best film of the year. Beautiful, poignant and touching. It requires sheer guts to produce such kind of film without getting bogged down by commercial trappings. Screenplay is to the point and director Vikramaditya Motwane succeeds as a fine storyteller.
The reason behind writing this piece of text is with reference to a discussion I had with a friend . He was saying nature’s rule is that humans are a social animal whereas on the contrary I have always felt that naturally every human is alone.
Every man/woman is always inclined towards mingling, socializing with others. I say feeling of socializing is not natural but it comes out of fear of being alone, which every human has. Now, comes part of emotional attachment.
The debate over caste census is on and has heated up. Personally, speaking till couple of years back I was used to be proud in being a member of particular caste but later I felt its nothing but a false pride. For me it started making zero sense because my parents, family and people around me were saying that I belong to particular caste and I found no real base to it.
Is “The Hurt Locker” an action war film? For me the answer is “NO”. It is surely not an out an out adrenaline action film. In simple words, “The Hurt Locker” is a story of a soldier working for US Army in Iraq and doing his job. Of course, Hurt Locker shows life of soldiers posted in Iraq. However, film is not about just war and it is about treating soldier’s work as a routine job. The Hurt Locker follows protagonist “William James”. William James is a member of “United States Army Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD)”. He is a veteran when it comes to disposing the bombs and it has been shown that he has disarmed 873 bombs.
A word “AVATAR” has got new dictionary meaning.

I don’t know how many times more I am going to see “Billy Elliot”. I already have seen it for couple of times and still can’t get over with it. A story of a motherless boy who chooses ballet shoes against boxing gloves. A very subtle treatment by director Stephen Daldry.
“Walk When You Talk” – I doubt that. A new advertisement by Idea Cellular. This new advertisement is nice in presentation. However, according to me it is sending a wrong signal. Since the inception of mobile revolution in India, apart from statistics of number of mobile users, new technologies, 2G/3G, iPhone mania,
